We are thrilled to announce this year marks the 10th anniversary of Contact Instruments! With a new year right around the corner, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on our journey. Looking back to our humble beginnings in 2013 and the purchase of Case Technology, little did we know then that this would be the catalyst for a decade of achievements and milestones:
2015
We reached a significant milestone by merging Contact Instruments with Contact Pump and Parts. This strategic decision allowed us to enhance the customer experience and streamline our operations. This amalgamation was a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive solutions to our customers.
2017
With growth came the need for a larger manufacturing facility. In 2017, we relocated to a new location in Nisku, AB, which became our new home. This transition enabled us to expand our capabilities and better serve our ever-increasing customer base.
2019
In response to the growing demand for our products, we extended our manufacturing facility with an impressive 6,000-square-foot addition. This addition represented our dedication to delivering high-quality OEM drilling instrumentation solutions while establishing a platform for growth.
2020
With the rise of COVID, 2020 marked another major milestone as we began manufacturing products in-house to keep the supply chain running. With the purchase of our first two CNC machines, we gained better control over our production process and further elevated the quality of our offerings.
2021
Building upon our firm foundation, we witnessed the acquisition of all assets from WadeCo Inc. This acquisition not only broadened our product offering in mud gauges but also provided us with increased exposure in overseas markets. Ultimately, this has allowed us to enhance our capabilities and meet the evolving needs of our global customers.
2022
Our commitment to expansion and improvement remained unwavering. We continued to invest in our manufacturing department, adding three DN Solution Lathes. This further positioned us as industry leaders and helped us broaden our customer base.
2023
This year has been instrumental in taking us to new heights. Our dedicated team, which has grown significantly over the past year, is at the core of our success. With additions to our staff and on-site equipment, we’ve broadened our skills and expertise, ensuring we continue to deliver great service and cutting-edge OEM solutions.
Looking Ahead
None of these achievements would have been possible without the steadfast support of our team, customers, and partners. We are immensely grateful for their trust and continued collaboration, which fuels our drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
Though we will likely expand our team even more in 2024, this upcoming year is dedicated to driving customer satisfaction. In addition, we will continue to expand our capacity for cable and our in-house machine shop and pursue the potential of breaking into new markets.
